[ Yuri's not sure why he shows up, but at some point he made a break away from others. He stares at the door, like it was the den into hell itself, and gives it a knock. He's always been pretty curious about the office and maybe if the guy's still injured, he's not actually in his office and he could snoop around?
Immediately after the knock, he jiggles the door handle to see if Juri left it unlocked out of carelessness or if for once Yuri's got a spot of good luck. He mutters: ]
Okay... so what if he's never been in here before? That and he has no clue what he's doing.
Buuuut, time to see what's around, and then probably see if he can snoop around Juri's desk for any clues or whatever (any pieces of paper sticking out? or unlocked drawers?). ]
[The office is pretty nice, actually, all done up in wood and leather; the shelves have a fair amount of books on them, though they don't seem to be titled, but other than that there are a few things that look a little out of place here and there - the model glider and dice sets from the machine, a chessboard and a few decks of cards from the game room and a pair of stuffed cats with little ribbons tied in bows around their necks - one white with a red ribbon, the other one orange with black.
The desk itself doesn't seem to have a lot on it - a lamp for the sake of not killing his eyes, and a different type of board from the game room used for European solitaire; it's set up for another game, but he doesn't seem to have started it yet before he left for...whatever he's doing now.
That said, the drawers are unlocked, though they actually seem surprisingly organized, given how casual he tends to be about everything; what in particular are you looking for?]
Yuri's going to be taking in the sight for memory's sake because obviously this is important. Granted he's nothing like a detective or an investigator, but he does try his best where it counts. Also, the cats are adorable-- and the rest of the stuff makes him come to the idea that Juri likes to play games. Which would not be surprising, he thinks, considering...
The thought left to the side, Yuri decides to go through the drawers now that he finds that they're unlocked. He'll be looking for any papers with information on them of some kind, or maybe some other type of strange object that Juri might've just shoved in there. ]
[Well, there aren't any keys or anything in there, and there doesn't seem to be anything terribly out of the ordinary; it seems...pretty much like a normal desk, with a few notepads and writing utensils in there. Some of the notepads seem to have drawings on them, but it actually doesn't look like there's a lot of actual notes that have been taken - there aren't really any words, just drawings here and there.
...There's also one drawer that looks like it had batting from the sewing room shoved in there with reckless abandon for god only knows what reason.]
[ Yuri will just look closer at the drawings for a moment, because when investigating things people are supposed to examine everything, right?
Following that, he'll pick up the batting from that last drawer, and squint at it too. He might unroll it by accident and try to roll it back up. Smooth. ]
[The drawings seem to be of people, actually - namely, those that have died here. Looks like he's taking particular interest in them for some reason; god only knows why. Maybe he's just morbid like that, who knows- ]
...You having fun?
[...Aaaaand it looks like you're not alone anymore, Yuri; his voice can be heard while you're rolling up the batting again like a champion. He doesn't sound mad or anything, just kind of blank; he's leaning up against the doorframe, watching.
[ That probably makes him sober up a little. He doesn't know why Juri would take so much interest in the dead, though. Is it because Juri really does eat souls?!
... Okay, probably not-- but then there's Juri's calm voice cutting on through and he stands up straight. For some reason he hides the batting behind his back, before he realizes that's ridiculous and just. Sets it down back into the drawer. ]
Yeah. A lot of fun until you walked in.
[ PAUSE... ]
So, this is awkward. How much trouble am I in exactly?
[ He rubs the back of his head, recalling the rules list vaguely. Then he just moves to stand nearby the bookcase, and now that he thinks about it, he's got a question to ask the guy. He doubts he'll get something satisfactory, but-- ]
... So, why're you drawing pictures of the dead anyways?
[ This is definitely not lining up with some things he assumed about the man. It makes him want to ask a few more questions-- but he doesn't know how to ask any "good" ones. ]
... Yeah, they do.
[ Yuri made sure he'd never forget those who died either, but once again this is still a surprising revelation for him. Nooot that he's still happy with Juri, considering. ]
So I guess I was wrong about you hating us and enjoying every second of this whole thing, huh?
I like some of you guys more than others, just personally speaking.
Whether I hate you all is another thing, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying this; I have to get my kicks somehow, even if this is generally just a job for me. It's nothing personal, but that doesn't mean I don't find ways to enjoy it if I can.
[ He weighs every bit of the man's words-- and of course he decidedly doesn't very much like his answer. He's not in the mood to linger here in his presence for long, either. ]
Well, I wasn't sure what I was expecting. Maybe it's a good thing you're so honest so I'll know what I'm dealing with.
[ He'll be moving towards the door... and well, probably by default nearby Juri because he's probably still leaning against the doorframe? ]
Sunday night

... Probably not likely.

The door is, in fact, unlocked, though; you're more than welcome to come in.]

You're not. There's no hard rules against going through my stuff; Rule Four technically encourages it.

Is it out of boredom, or...
no subject
I'm not too interested in forgetting them or acting like they were never here. That's disrespectful.
no subject
Disrespectful? Yuri thought Juri derived some sort of secret amusement from this and, well. ]
... Even if you didn't know them? Even if they tried to kill you?
[ ... ]
So you just have respect for the dead in general?

no subject
... Yeah, they do.

Not much point in lying to you about things like that.
