Juri's still wearing the usual jeans, but with the red button-up he wears sometimes instead of the usual black. Perhaps more noticeably, both the slash on his face and the impromptu tracheotomy that Rideaux gave him seem to have healed completely since he's come back from the pit. There aren't any signs that his skin was cut open at all, really - not even any scars or marks where the injuries might have healed over.

Once in a while he still kind of runs his fingers over that area low on his throat where Rideaux's scalpel sank in; otherwise...well, looks like the cards are back - he's got two decks of them, looks like he's playing Diplomat judging by all the columns, though he'll glance up when she comes in.]

No, this happened before I met the cat. I don't really dream otherwise, so the one I do remember kind of stuck with me, I guess.

I guess it's because you don't really seem like the kinda guy to have a pet. [ Or something. ] I know Ferid's asked about it because he's mentioned it to me, but like, has there really been a lot of other people asking about it?

Yeah - and I get why, most people seem to think I'm some sort of demon or something. Literal, metaphorical, whatever, the sentiment is pretty similar. The sort of stuff I like weirds them out, so of course they're going to ask about it.

Still kind of makes me wonder about everyone's priorities, though.

Soooort of thought everyone's priorities were about "escape," especially since I've been scolded about it. [ Rather: about not being concerned about it at all. ] Or on like, figuring out your weaknesses! I mean, maybe cats totally are one of them? But it's not like that's gonna help us here.
