...I can only really remember one dream I've had, and it was really boring.

More like "not a lot happened that's relevant to anyone but me." It wasn't like an adventure or anything.

So it's just daily life stuff? [ ......that is sorta boring, yeah. ] Did it have anyone you know in it? Ooh, or your cat?

[Well, the last question seems to catch him off-guard a little; he seems sort of amused at it, anyway.]

No, this happened before I met the cat. I don't really dream otherwise, so the one I do remember kind of stuck with me, I guess.

I know the feeling! [ Which is why it's a little weird she's been doing it lately, but anyway— ] How long have you had your cat? Are they hard to take care of? I've never have a pet... orrr, well, I haven't had a pet recently...

I guess it's because you don't really seem like the kinda guy to have a pet. [ Or something. ] I know Ferid's asked about it because he's mentioned it to me, but like, has there really been a lot of other people asking about it?

Yeah - and I get why, most people seem to think I'm some sort of demon or something. Literal, metaphorical, whatever, the sentiment is pretty similar. The sort of stuff I like weirds them out, so of course they're going to ask about it.

Still kind of makes me wonder about everyone's priorities, though.

Soooort of thought everyone's priorities were about "escape," especially since I've been scolded about it. [ Rather: about not being concerned about it at all. ] Or on like, figuring out your weaknesses! I mean, maybe cats totally are one of them? But it's not like that's gonna help us here.

Do you call me by name and not by title when you talk about me with other people?

[ this isn't the first time he's called ferid "ferid" after all, she's just curious—and assuming he talks to other people about her, because of course he does. ~~literally everyone does, do you see those mingle posts~~ ]

It doesn't come up all that much, but if it's just in casual conversation, then yeah. Why?

So you do talk about me! [ ...give her a second. okay. ] I was just wondering! You're all titles when it's time for body announcements and executions and stuff like that.

[ And... not-casual conversation. ]

A lot of people are weirded out by getting called by their titles, or have to like, think about who I'm talking about whenever I use one... so it'd probably just be easier to use people's names instead of those? But like, some of these names are totally a little... [ ... ] I don't wanna mess them up, you know? That'd be super embarrassing! There's other reasons tooooo, but like, that's the one that satisfies most people.

It doesn't really matter to me either way when it comes to what I call people to their face - it depends on a few things. How much I talk to them, what we're talking about, if I like them all right or not.

Sometimes it's title, sometimes it's name, it's all pretty much interchangeable.

[ she is a polite young lady, she wouldn't—there are a lot of ugly names. ]

So there's nothing special to it... [ ...she sounds a little disappointed about that. ] Hmmmm, okaaaay.

Do you ever use the vending machine?

Not really - I've obviously got access to everything that's in there, so there's not too much point to leaving it up to chance if I decide I want something.

So you can have those totally great sweet roll bags whenever you want? That's so unfair...

Doooes that mean you're the one who put our personal belongings in there, or was it already set up like that when you got here? [ or... whatever... ]

I didn't hand-pick everything that went in there, no.
