If you'd like to have a private meeting with the Adjudicator, this is where you should go! The Adjudicator is available at almost all hours of the day; just knock and he'll answer.

[ Inigo planned on saying hello to Juri sooner, but... well, he was kind of feeling apprehensive at the thought of going to the man's office until now. So here he is at like 3 o'clock in the morning because he doesn't sleep at normal hours. Knock knock, are you awake. ]

[When he answers, his words definitely dampened by the closed door but not inaudible - seems this place isn't as...utterly soundproofed as the bedrooms are, at least.]

Yeah, come in.

[Seems he's awake, also at like three in the morning.

The room itself is more of an office, all done up in wood and leather and generally well-kept, with shelves lining the walls and a large desk at the center. The Adjudicator himself is sitting at the desk and...managing to look completely out of place in here, given everything. He's in the usual denim and black, and he seems a bit engrossed in what he's doing - he's got a board from the game room in front of him, and it looks like he's having a go at European solitaire tonight.

So. What's on your mind?]

[ Inigo steps inside the office and closes the door shut behind him before looking around curiously. This certainly is a nice-looking room. Then again, he's from the middle ages and is easily impressed. ]

Good evening, Adjudicator. [ His tone is polite, if a bit forced, and his lips are curved into a smile. ] What are you doing?

[He'll look up at that, his expression as casual as it always is, and he shrugs after a moment.]

It's a type of Solitaire from the game room. The point is to empty the board and leave only one in the center.

I've got to keep myself occupied somehow when I'm not overseeing things directly.

Do you play chess? I can bring a chessboard next time I visit, if you'd like.

Yeah, I do, actually. It's been a while since I've had anyone play against me.

Likewise. I haven't played since I was in Rosanne and tried to charm my way into the heart of the pretty lady who owned a chess club...

[ ...Emphasis on "tried" because that failed spectacularly. ]

Speaking of ladies, what's your type?

[...Well, that. That gets some staring, actually. Just. All of it.]

I...don't really have one, I guess. I don't know, I'm not really looking.

[ i am so sorry for everything inigo's decided to be. why is he allowed to talk. ]

...Um, please don't stare at me like that.

[...To his credit, he'll actually return his attention to the board.]

You guys are really weirdly interested in romance.

Romance and women are two of life's greatest gifts. If you were a pretty lady, I'd probably ask you out for tea.

I'd probably say no, but if you brought it in here you'd have a deal, I guess.

Fortunately for both of us, I'm not a pretty lady.

Anyway, I've a couple questions, if you don't mind. That blood in the infirmary refrigerator, is it Mallick's?

[...INIGO, HOLY SHIT.]

I...what? No.

...I see you kill a person and not long after I find bags of blood in one of the new rooms. After I had this "transfusion" thing explained to me I started wondering where it came from and Mallick's body was the first thing that came to mind.

[ look he's from the middle ages, this is what happens when he's introduced to modern stuff. ]

[andexecutioner]

[Oh my god, his face is in his hands, give him a second.]

No. No, I see exactly where you got that idea. But no, that didn't...no. It's not Mallick's blood, it's not the blood of anybody you know.

Thank the gods. [ He seems a little relieved. Thank you for not draining corpses of their blood, Juri. ]

What did you do with Sayaka and Mallick after... that? Did you give them a burial or... I don't know, dump them somewhere?

They were taken care of. Burials aren't really anything we do here, but I didn't just dump them somewhere, either.
