If you'd like to have a private meeting with the Adjudicator, this is where you should go! The Adjudicator is available at almost all hours of the day; just knock and he'll answer.
Comments are screened for privacy; no eavesdropping, that's rude.
[It takes him a while to answer, but eventually he does, his words definitely dampened by the closed door but not inaudible - seems this place isn't as...utterly soundproofed as the bedrooms are, at least.]
Yeah, enter.
[The room itself is more of an office, all done up in wood and leather and generally well-kept, with shelves lining the walls and a large desk at the center. The Adjudicator himself is sitting at the desk and...managing to look completely out of place in here, given everything. The jeans are still present for now, clothes-wise, but he's replaced the black button-up with a red one; he seems a little unfocused, playing with one of those sets of dice from the machine - he's not tossing them or anything, just playing with the D20 between his fingers.
[ Terumi gives the room a quick look around before standing in the front of the desk, arms crossed. He's never really been one to relax or for inactivity, and he's vaguely bothered-- as bothered as he can be for someone like him.]
So you really are capable of things like that, huh? I didn't think you had it in you to break someone's soul like that. [ Because the distinction to him is different, even with the kidnapping and potential killing aside. And well, because that changes pretty much everything to him]
[He'll look over at Terumi at that, pulling his attention away from the D20 he's messing with.]
I wouldn't tell people not to fight me if I couldn't punish them for doing it. I'm a lot of things, but a coward who relies on rules alone for protection? Not one of them.
[...]
I wouldn't say his soul's broken, though. Interesting way of putting it.
I was expecting something more boring like plain killing them, torturing, you know? [ Honestly Terumi isn't really a person to judge based on pure looks alone other than him just being a jerk, but it's still surprising. Spells and techniques like that weren't the easiest to do, as far as he knew.]
What would you call it? Unless you have it hanging around here somewhere.
It makes it more amusing before you kill them. [ He would know.
As for the rest of information, he thinks a moment before replying.]
What a harsh overseer you are. [ There's no bite to his words though.]
You really think people will keep killing now that they've seen what happens to them if they fail? Not that many of them would know the difference between that and dying anyway.
I'd be interested to see how you'd motivate me. [ Not that he cares about killing anyone, but being prodded to do it? That's a different matter entirely.]
I couldn't care less about the type of things they do. [ Helpfully pointing outside the door to the rest of the rabble.] But I'm sure you know that already, hm?
[ A compliment, how rare.]
And you're more than what I thought you were, Juri. Maybe this will be less of a waste time than I thought.

So. What's on your mind?]

[...You know, as one does.]
I'm not above torturing people, though. There's just not much point when they've already lost the game.

Was there anything else?

I'm not adverse to working with a system if it's beneficial to both parties.
