A couple things actually. [ He stands there as he usually does, customary smile on his face.]

Heard something interesting from Naoto-chan. She said the taken souls are just thrown in the trash after this is all done. That true?

I wouldn't put it like that, but I definitely don't hold onto them any. Why?

It's a waste when you can do other things with them. [ A beat.] Seems like a boring thing to do too, and I thought you didn't like boring things.

[andexecutioner]

...If this is leading up to you wondering if I'm going to allow somebody to make weapons out of them after all this is over, the answer is no.

[He doesn't sound any more disapproving than he usually does, mind, just...laying it out there.]

Keheheh, I didn't say that. Why were you interested in that then?

Morbid curiosity, mostly. Hearing stuff like that...it's more interesting than what a lot of other people have to offer.

But even you have a line, huh? Speaking of that: didn't think you'd be so upset about that kid.

Makes me wonder who else you'd be upset about if they died. Besides maybe Fainting Beauty.

I'm not really the sort to get upset. Some things piss me off, yeah, but death isn't one of them. The kid's death was frustrating, that's all. I dealt with it, it's fine.

...And let's be blunt, if that guy dies it's probably going to be his own fault.

Would you miss me?~

[ He grins.]

Right, right. It would probably be more of a mess than Walder's trial~. But I guess we'll have to see as people did such a good job holding hands last week. [ He does not sound impressed, how boring.]

They did, yeah.

[Last week was boring as hell, tbh.

That said, he takes a moment before he says anything else, though.]

...Either way, it'd probably be weird without you showing up here to hassle me all the time.

[It's. Not quite as irritated as he probably meant to sound? And probably the closest thing that you're getting to "maybe I'd miss you or something", so there's that.]

[ In Terumi land, the amount of people who don't just straight up hate him is slim, so it actually sounds like somewhat of a good thing. Then again he likes being hated, so who the hell knows.]

Is that what this is? [ He doesn't look offended in the slightest.] I just think our tastes are somewhat similar, even though a lot of people still think you're their friend.

You don't think that, do you?

[It's more curiosity than anything.]

[ Another grin, but this one is wider than usual.]

I don't. That's not to say that our interests or whatever won't align at some point, but you have your own goal and I have mine. I doubt you'd do anything for someone unless it was beneficial to you in some way-- even if it's just to see their reaction or something like that.

Maybe I'll invite you to drink with me sometime. Assuming you drink.
