You have lost a few points being apparently bloodless though. What else am I supposed to fantasize about at night? It'd be a pleasurable experience for you, too, darling host, if I was allowed to take a bite~. Though I'm not quite sure what I'd get for it in return.

[Nothing bad or even physical, from the look of it; he just shifts and pulls something out of one of the desk drawers, setting it down on the desk in front of Ferid once he's got it. It's a little wooden toy cat, the sort of thing with articulated limbs so you can move it around and pose it and stuff.]

Ferid picks it up, fiddling with the cat as if unsure what to do with it, and glances back at Juri after a moment, smile somewhere between his usual amused and a little baffled.]

... I'll gladly have it, but I'm curious as to why you're giving me it.

[He just shrugs a bit at that.]

Same reason people give anyone anything, I guess.

I knew you were the coy type~. Well, I was going to ask you about your little cat toys anyway, seeing as apparently you had more than what I gave you. We talked about it a little at our meeting yesterday. You have a brown one too, don't you? With a white ribbon?

Yeah. I made it a couple of days ago to pass time.

And now you have an adorable orange one to join the gang~. It's nice that the first one isn't so alone anymore, isn't it.

Still, I'll admit was I was a little surprise to hear that answer. Did you get the idea from my first gift?

Yeah, something like that. I suck at sewing, though.

The room I have doesn't look like yours, but it isn't anything too elaborate, either.

I've got plenty of places that I go that you can't get at, though.

Of course, of course~! I've lived in too many places like this to think there isn't hidden rooms and passageways galore, the question is where they are in the first place. Right beneath our nose, maybe, or behind one of the walls here. Maybe you even have a staircase beneath your desk here that leads down into our courtroom.

[How curt. But he's not bothered; he plays with the cat toy as if he hadn't just been rejected, making it paw at the air.]

You don't have to have favorites, my darling dear, I'd never ask that of you! Instead, I rather liked how things played out today and I'd be interested in seeing what I can do to keep this place lively in exchange. Nothing comes free, after all~.

Awww, I'm only curious about what you think of us~! You won't tell me even one thing? I don't see how it could possibly help us, after all, and that would imply I'd even care enough about a group of humans to pass along the message.
