If you'd like to have a private meeting with the Adjudicator, this is where you should go! The Adjudicator is available at almost all hours of the day; just knock and he'll answer.

[Seems the office isn't...entirely soundproofed; it's definitely dampened, but not as absolutely silent as the dorms.

The office itself is done up in wood and leather; he seems to have recovered...incredibly well from the incident in the pit last week, with no visible injuries or anything where the scalpels had hit him and torn his skin open - there aren't even any scars. For the time being he's just sitting behind the desk idly messing with something; it looks like a small wooden toy cat, with little articulated limbs and everything. There are also a pair of stuffed cats sitting on the shelves beside the desk; one is white with a red ribbon around his neck, one is brown with a white ribbon. There are also a few decks of cards up there, and a board for European solitaire.

Looks like he's been keeping himself preoccupied with plenty of idle activities, anyway.

...The desk itself is also covered in glitter today for some reason, because of course it is.]

Um, yeah, but, before I get to that, uh...what's with the...

[ The cats? The glitter? ]

Actually, you know what, forget I asked. I'm not so sure if I want to know. I don't want to keep my friend waiting, so I wanted to be quick about this, but...

[ She takes the tin foil off of her brownies, and...they actually don't look terrible? They're probably not the best brownies ever, and they're clearly not made by a professional. But they certainly do seem edible, unlike the abominations she threw out in the kitchen; she clearly worked hard on these! They're pretty much just almond nut brownies that look...a bit blackened around the edges, but definitely a fair bit chunky. They've even been drizzled in a bit of caramel, though it looks a little bit messy! ]

Take these off my hands? I made them for the meeting tonight, but, pretty much everyone knows I'm not that great of a cook...so, no one really wanted to eat any. B-but! They're not too bad, I promise! I mean, they're definitely edible...

[He just...sort of stares for a moment, cocking his head a little to the side before he says anything; he doesn't seem troubled so much as he does sort of confused, and after a moment he'll look back up at her.]

...Did Aligula put you up to this?

Huh? Aligula?

[ She wasn't expecting that... ]

N-no, actually, this was all my idea, but...I take it all of this glitter is her fault, then? ...Honestly, I should have known...

...She decided it was my birthday today, it's a long story.

[...]

Not so much a long story as it is a stupid one, but the point still stands.

Oh, is that so? Then I guess I might just have good timing! Though now I'm kind of regretting not baking a cake...

But at least now you have birthday brownies, right? Even if they're not made by the best baker here, brownies are brownies, right?

...Trust me, she made enough cake for a lifetime. The brownies are fine.

You're not allergic to nuts, though, are you? Just...giving you a bit of a warning, since, well. They have nuts in them.

No allergies at all, actually. At least not that I know of.

Okay, good! Then there shouldn't be a problem, I don't think. Don't get me wrong, they're not the best, but, well...you'll like them at least a little, I hope!

Anyway, I'm gonna get going before Angel gets a little nervous. I've probably kept her waiting too long already, but, I'll probably end up hearing from you later in the week, I assume. Let me know if you like them, though!
