Yo~. [ Well he said he'd come, and Terumi is many things, but he actually hates lying.]

[Good to see you, Terumi, he'd wondered if you were going to show up here.

Juri seems to have changed his clothes a bit from the execution; he's still wearing the usual jeans, but the black shirt has been replaced with a red one. Perhaps more noticeably, both the slash on his face and the impromptu tracheotomy that Rideaux gave him seem to have healed completely since he's come back from the pit. There aren't any signs that his skin was cut open at all, really - not even any scars or marks where the injuries might have healed over.

He seems pretty energetic, either way; probably not surprising, after all that, though once in a while he still kind of runs his fingers over that area low on his throat where Rideaux's scalpel sank in.]

Thought you'd show up eventually. Enjoy yourself?

[ He notices the healed wounds of course, but he'd be more surprised if there were markings of any kind left over at all. The lack of blood is of more interest to him than the accelerated healing (something he had at one point himself), but that could be a question for another time.]

I did. What about you? [ The energy of the other is easy for him to pick up on, if only because it looked similar to what he felt when fighting. The feeling of someone wanting to kill you and hurt you so bad, even if it was pointless. It was what Terumi thrived on, in a way almost literally.]

It was...something, anyway. It's been a while since I've had a fight like that.

[Yeah, from the sound of it he was totally okay with the proceedings there. Came out there to attack someone and had such a good time right now, etc.]

You weren't too fond of the victim besides, judging from earlier.

Her? She was just stupid and easy to play with. Almost too easy, reminds me of a doll I have back home. [ A beat.] You know, an artificial human.

Yeah, I think I know what you mean.

[It sounds unsurprised, at least, so he probably does, but still - ]

You have a lot of things like that, or...?

I have a few. My dear vessels, and some like her that are only good for one thing-- but what can you do about it? Certain prototypes just don't have the capacity or intellect for anything else.

Nox Nytores are easier to manage and last longer.

Those are your weapons, right? Those things you were telling me about last time.

[He'd be lying if he said he weren't interested, if in a morbid sort of way.]

I don't mind hearing about it, if you're interested in talking.

Right. Like I said, it would be easier if I could just show you mine even if you don't let me have it. [ Because this would not be the first time he's not had access to it as it were. But he'll continue onward for now.]

Their main source of power is the soul used to smelt them, which wasn't just any plain ordinary soul. All their powers are different too, I made ones modeled after swords, ones after staffs etc. The souls don't retain any real cognizance, but they do have a will of sorts as they gravitate toward certain owners. They also effect the wielder's psyche to an extent, as it requires a certain mindset to use them, and some people need a push.

Mine is called Geminus Anguium: Ouroboros.

And what does it do? This thing of yours.

It's modeled after a weighted chain, but it does more than that. The actual length of it can be adjusted to whatever you want if you know what you're doing, it's based on a type of magic after all.

There's a couple of ways you can stylistically use it-- Hazama prefers to use it to dart around like an idiot.

And you think I'm using these people's souls to make things like that?

Maybe. There are other uses for souls, this is just the first one that comes to mind.

[ It's a better idea he thinks than eating them.]

Still not gonna let me show you? You got me here, couldn't you just unlock the seal that's stopping me from summoning it but not actually let me have it? [ A beat.]

I'm not really a fan of fighting with my soul out in the open like this anyway, too messy.

[ Hmm. There's the obvious question of why, but he won't elect to go that route.]

If you change your mind, let me know. [ He tilts his head.] Could always show you one of the other ones, I wouldn't be caught dead using Trinity's staff, not to mention she might still be in it. [ It's not a power he has to summon them, but the items in the vending machine come to mind, not to mention the power it took to get him here in the first place.]
